Hi to all Overkill fans!

Some time ago we reported a new update which in the end didn’t come out.
Sorry about that! It got stuck in Apple and we had to make
several changes to get it approved. As a bonus for waiting we add some
cool updates to make your life easier. Now you can chat with other
eager online players so tell everyone who is the master here!
Regulate aiming sensitivity while playing and get rid of your enemies with
just a single shot. Read a new message at News and get 1 OM!

Overkill multiplayer release date

Overkill multiplayer is set for a release on March 1st, featuring 2 player competitive wifi play, here’s a little description:

Multiplayer includes two tiers of gameplay.

For less experienced players, the Novice Tier offers head-to-head battles featuring slower-paced enemies who require fewer shots to kill. Players are issued a standard UMP 45 submachine gun with unlimited ammunition, and game play is limited to 90 seconds or 1,000 points per round.
More skilled players can upgrade to the Elite Tier, featuring enemies who are faster and harder to kill. Elite players compete using M16A4 SPECOPS rifles that can be upgraded to include additional stocks, magazines, scopes, foregrips and other accessories. Elite Tier competitions last up to to 2,000 points.

The Elite Tier can be unlocked for 30 Overkill Medals (OM) and includes leaderboards, flying drones, bonus boxes and other features not found in the Novice Tier.

Additional tiers, such as the Sniper Tier, will be coming shortly.

Multiplayer update for Overkill iOS

Hello fans!

We’re officially announcing Multiplayer update for Overkill iOS today! You will be able to compete with your gamecenter friends or random foes in Duel:
Both players are going to have their targets. Shooting your targets will increase your score, shooting targets of your oponnent will increase his score. Winner will be decided at the end of the wave, higher score wins. We’re going to use standard wave system, tweaked accordingly for the multiplayer.

We’re still in the process of tweaking stuff and we’re also thinking about making more multiplayer game modes, like COOP. Any ideas very appreciated! Release date is set roughly for February 16!
